Restoring the natural color of the teeth by removing stains from the tooth surface, lighting the color of the teeth, and changing the intrinsic or extrinsic color of the tooth enamel. The process of restoring the natural color of the teeth is performed by using a clear peroxide-based whiting gels which is applied directly on the surface of the teeth. A blue LED light that falls within the ultraviolet spectrum, like the light emitted by the sun is used to activate the hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide whitening gel.
